The Remedy: The Drimaster Ventilation System
The Drimaster system draws filtered, dry and often warm air from the loft, directing it through a central ceiling diffuser into the hall or landing. This gives up to 15 complete changes of air per day throughout every room. This displaces the moisture laden air and dries the whole property out without any additional heating. With natural convection and regular window opening only one or two changes of air will occur. The Drimaster system blower is installed in the loft and costs approximately £12 a year to run. No maintenance or adjustments are required, just a change of filters every 5 years which we will do.
The Nuaire Drimaster 2000 unit has warm air recovery system, a small sensor in one of the rooms measures temperature. When the loft is warmer than the room below, the blower speed increases to give a free boost to your house heating.
Subject to our survey of your property, we are confident, the system would reduce humidity levels and cure any musty/mould smells and any wall mould problems as long as these are due to condensation. Our system will not cure rising or penetrating damp, this is a separate problem. A reduction in any radon levels would also be achieved.
Nuaire is a large and very experienced company based in Wales. Their wide range of fans are manufactured in the UK. The Nuaire Drimaster unit carries a 1 year parts and labour guarantee and 5 year parts guarantee.
The Drimaster positive ventilation system is very well proven. Many Drimaster systems have been installed in private and local authority housing with complete satisfaction over the last 20 years. Recently Many systems were installed for Penwith Housing Association.

Drimaster Unit
The Drimaster unit fitted in the loft is suspended, not attached to ceiling joists so produces virtually no sound. Integral filters take out all dust including pollen, great for hay fever sufferers.

Unobtrusive Ceiling Diffuser
Usually fitted in a hall or landing, the unobtrusive ceiling diffuser spreads the incoming fresh air out along the ceiling and soon reaches every part of the house.

The Drimaster 2000 Sensor.
Little larger than a matchbox, it sits in the corner of a ceiling controlling and adjusting the blower unit speed to boost the airflow when the loft is warmer than the rooms giving you free heat.

Fresh Clean Air
Fresh clean air is drawn from outside, warmed in the loft, filtered and passed down into the house to replace stale, damp and musty smelling air.
